Yoshio Nozawa serves as Senior Advisor to Lincoln’s Valuations and Opinions Group, bringing deep academic and practical expertise to support the team’s global platform.

Yoshio is a cross-appointed Associate Professor of Finance and Distinguished Professor of Financial Markets in the Department of Management, University of Toronto Scarborough and the Rotman School of Management. His research focuses on asset pricing, with a particular focus on fixed income and credit risk. Yoshio’s research has been published in leading academic and practitioner journals including the American Economic Review and Journal of Finance.

Before joining the University of Toronto, Yoshio was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and worked as a senior economist in the Division of Monetary Affairs at the Federal Reserve Board.

Yoshio holds a joint PhD in finance and economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of Tokyo.
