Leveraging nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Richard provides valuation and opinion services to clients across sectors and geographies. He has advised business development companies, credit opportunity funds, private equity firms, hedge funds, limited partners and other financial institutions.
During his career, Richard has focused on investments in a wide variety of alternative asset classes, including private equity, private credit, real estate and most recently secondary private equity. He possesses a deep understanding of independent third-party valuations and opinions in support of illiquid alternative asset investments.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Richard spent over a decade as a Managing Member at 88 Capital. Previously he was a Managing Director at Duff & Phelps where he led the EMEA secondary market advisory team. Richard also served as Managing Director and Head of Research at Origami Capital Partners, where he headed the group’s European operations. Earlier, he worked at Anschutz Investments focused on private credit and special situations investment across Europe, and with Young & Associates, a telecommunications infrastructure specialist.
Richard earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
