Edward Hanlon

Ed is a senior banker in Lincoln’s Global Industrial Group. He has over 30 years of experience providing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to private equity groups, large corporate clients and leading private companies for industrial manufacturing and service businesses.  Ed has many private equity and large corporate clients for whom he’s completed multiple transactions.

Ed has extensive transaction experience with a broad range of industrial companies, with a particular focus on advanced manufacturing and industrial technology.

Prior to co-founding Lincoln in 1996, Ed was an officer in the M&A group of PaineWebber (now UBS) and worked for Morgan Stanley in the equity division. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Ed earned a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from Saint Joseph’s University. He was a recipient of the Alexander E. Loeb Gold Medal for placing first in the state of Pennsylvania on the CPA examination.
