Ryan McDermott

Ryan McDermott is a senior officer in the transportation and logistics team at Lincoln International. He advises private equity firms, corporations and founder-owned businesses on mergers and acquisitions across the sector.

Ryan has deep knowledge of the dynamics shaping the rapidly evolving transportation and logistics sector and the core value drivers across a broad range of sub-sectors. He has experience across healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics, white-glove logistics, specialized freight forwarding and brokerage, last-mile delivery, intermodal and drayage, warehousing and distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL/4PL services, and logistics infrastructure and has executed several cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Ryan was a Manager in KPMG’s Transaction Advisory Services group, where he focused on financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients and developed the analytical rigor required to successfully lead sell-side M&A processes for transportation and logistics companies.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois, graduating with high honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
