Friedrich co-leads Lincoln International’s operations in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Benelux region. He also holds board positions for Lincoln International’s offices in Italy and Russia. For the last 20 years, Friedrich has provided mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advising and execution for large corporates, private equity and family-owned businesses.
Friedrich has developed a strong leadership and passion for senior execution of Lincoln International’s sell-side focused business model. He acts as senior advisor to clients and provides strategic leadership, actively develops investment theses, supports the unique positioning for target companies, communicates with stakeholder groups and directly lead processes and negotiations through the entire transaction.
Friedrich represents Lincoln International within Atlantik-Brücke, a private non-profit association that works to nurture German-American relations, and is actively interested in geopolitics and economics.
Friedrich started his investment banking career at ING Barings, where he led M&A in Frankfurt and London. His early career began in the tourism industry, and he held operational and management positions in Berlin and New York City.
Friedrich holds a graduate degree in economics and business administration from Freie Universität Berlin and an executive education certificate of business excellence from Columbia University.
