Lincoln International’s Global Valuations & Opinions Group completed over 10,000 portfolio company valuations in 2021
Lincoln International’s Global Valuations & Opinions Group is one of the largest providers of independent valuations to alternative asset managers in the world. Differentiated by its deep rooted market insights, technologically enhanced process, and investment banking client service model, the firm’s Valuations & Opinions Group performed portfolio valuation services across more than 125 distinct asset managers and rendered over 45 transaction opinions in 2021.
During the calendar year, the team continued the expansion of its proprietary private company database, which now collects over 800 financial and valuation fields across every portfolio company valued. These data collection enhancements have resulted in unprecedented private market intelligence which permeates throughout our robust valuation processes.
2021 also marked the inauguration of the Valuations & Opinions Group’s Application Programming Interface (API), which allows for quicker delivery of results to our clients and strengthens the quality control of the valuation process. This seamless tool, along with the use of web-based project management software, further enhances the group’s client service first model.
