Sean Bennis

I am a rigorous advocate for my clients with a hands-on, communicative approach, focused on delivering intense advocacy and outlier results.

Sean serves as the Global Head of Lincoln’s Industrials Group and leads the firm’s strategic initiatives within Lincoln’s Energy Transition, Power & Infrastructure (EP&I) segments. With over 28 years of experience at Lincoln, he has significant expertise advising companies serving the power, energy transition and industrial technology markets. Sean has worked on over 200 transactions for Fortune 500, private equity and leading private company clients and advised on numerous cross-border transactions.

Sean has an in-depth understanding of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) economics, focusing on market leaders in rapidly growing EP&I segments and selling high-quality businesses for premium valuations. He has been intimately involved in developing Lincoln’s market leading activities in the power, utility, digital infrastructure, data center, electrification and renewable energy segments.

In addition to advising clients, Sean serves as the Global Head of Lincoln’s Industrial Group, leading the global growth strategies for one of the firm’s largest and most active industry groups.  In addition, Sean serves on the firm’s U.S. Management Committee.

Sean has spent his entire career at Lincoln, joining shortly after the firm’s inception as the first Analyst and sixth employee. As one of Lincoln’s most tenured employees, Sean has been instrumental in the firm’s domestic and international growth initiatives over the last three decades.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science (with honors) from the College of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Illinois and St. Andrews University in Scotland.
