It’s an exciting time to advise clients in the consumer sector. Major changes in consumer preferences and how products are purchased create a rich environment for business owners and investors to succeed.

As co-head of Lincoln International’s European Consumer Group, Dirk leads the firm’s retail and consumer advisory services. He has more than 20 years of experience, advising on M&A, corporate divestitures and corporate finance transactions for pan-European corporate clients as well as financial sponsors. Given his extensive deal record with family-owned businesses, he helps clients navigate through complex family structures and needs.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Dirk provided M&A advisory services at Raymond James. Previously, he worked for Credit Suisse and Société Générale as well as Sal. Oppenheim.

Dirk holds a master‘s degree in business studies from the University of Cologne, Germany and took further management courses at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as well as at the IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland.
