Nils Weng

Nils Weng provides mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services as a Vice President in Lincoln’s Business Services Group. He draws on nearly a decade of industry experience to advise private equity firms, impact funds, family offices, private shareholders and corporations across EMEA.

In addition to his focus on sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates, Nils also has experience advising on a variety of transaction types, including restructuring, capital raises and corporate carve-outs. He has advised clients across a variety of verticals, including business services, environmental and infrastructure services, sustainability, energy, industrials and technology.

Before joining Lincoln, Nils was a Director at BDA Partners, the Asian arm of William Blair, where he primarily focused on global cross-border M&A transactions. Previously, he founded and operated climate and AI-powered technology startups and has experience across private market investments, corporate M&A and financial due diligence. Moreover, having lived across Europe, Asia and Africa, Nils’ adeptness at navigating multi-cultural complexities has proven invaluable when managing cross-border transactions.

Nils earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath with an exchange at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
