Audax Private Equity has sold Winchester Electronics to Snow Phipps Group
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Audax Private Equity (“Audax”) has completed the sale of Winchester Electronics (“Winchester” or the “Company”) to Snow Phipps Group, a New York-based private equity firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Winchester transaction further establishes Lincoln’s expertise in industrial technology and adds to its leading position as an industrial advisor, with over 200 transactions completed by the Global Industrials Group since 2010.
Headquartered in South Norwalk, Connecticut, Winchester is a leading provider of highly engineered interconnect solutions to a diverse mix of end markets, including military / aerospace, semiconductor, data infrastructure and medical, requiring high reliability and application-specific expertise. The Company provides complex, custom connectors and engineered cable assemblies that transmit power and data to numerous global, blue-chip OEMs.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Winchester, working closely with the Company’s management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
