Hans Peter Peters

Hans Peter Peters is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Lincoln International. In this role he is responsible for providing input to the senior management of the company on strategic and operational issues.  Additionally, Hans Peters uses his extensive network of global contacts for the benefit of Lincoln International.

In 1999, Hans Peter Peters founded Peters Associates AG and was the precursor for the international direction of the company under the Lincoln International brand name in January 2006. He was previously Chief Executive Officer and country head of UBS AG/Warburg Dillon Read in Germany. Prior to this, Hans Peter Peters was Chief Financial Officer of VIAG AG, Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley Bank AG and Managing Director for Germany, Austria and central Europe, Member of the Executive Board at WestLB and Chief Executive Officer of WestLB (Europe) AG in Dusseldorf. His career began at Citibank where he spent thirteen years at their offices in New York, Toronto, Paris, Stuttgart and Santiago de Chile.

Having completed a banking internship at Deutsche Bank, Hans Peter studied economics at the Universities of Cologne and Bonn and having gained his degree he was granted a scholarship DAAD/PhD Fulbright for the American University of Washington D.C.

Hans Peter Peters has around 35 years of experience in Corporate as well as Investment Banking. Since 1972, he has worked with international and national clients on acquisitions, public takeovers, and defense measures, joint ventures, fairness opinions, company disposals, and privatizations and has also advised on fund raising. The client spectrum includes large corporations, mid-cap as well as privately held companies, alongside the leading private equity firms.

Hans Peter Peters has successfully worked on more than 350 transactions in a wide range of industries.
