Charlie Markson

I take pride in guiding clients through some of the most defining transitions in their company’s growth, and I seek to develop trust and camaraderie to build long-term relationships.

Charlie is a Vice President in Lincoln International’s Financial Sponsors Group. He builds long-term relationships with private equity sponsors, advising across fund lifecycles from identifying new investment opportunities and strategic refinancings, to divestitures of portfolio companies.

With more than a decade of advisory experience, Charlie has developed a deep understanding of the needs and objectives of financial sponsors. He prides himself on being a trustworthy partner that delivers outcomes for clients that meet their unique goals.

Before joining the Financial Sponsors Group, Charlie advised private equity firms, private founders and entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and public companies as part of Lincoln’s Consumer Group. Prior to joining Lincoln, Charlie worked in commercial and corporate banking at Bank of Montreal, supporting clients across all consumer subsectors, with a focus on the food & beverage.

Charlie earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
