Zach Messenger

I am inspired by the complexity of special situations and enjoy creating strategic solutions that are tailored to meet the unique objectives of all stakeholders.

Zach has over a decade of restructuring and investment banking experience on in-court and out-of-court transactions, including distressed mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, capital raises, plan negotiations and expert valuation reports among others.

Zach has extensive experience advising a broad spectrum of clients including companies, creditors and other stakeholders across various sectors. He focuses on delivering strong results through his deep understanding of current market terms and trends.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Zach was a Director at Province where he worked with debt advisory clients. Previously, he served as a Vice President at Teneo, where he advised on numerous restructuring transactions. Before that, he was an Investment Associate at Bluestem Asset Management, a $1.5 billion hedge fund that invests globally with a group of long / short equity, credit, special situations, long-biased investment partnerships and also makes select public and private co-investments. Zach started his career at Duff & Phelps / Chanin Capital Partners.

Zach has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on finance from The Ohio State University. He is a Certified Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
