Jim O’Malley

I create value for clients by effectively conveying their unique business propositions and strategic angles to potential investors.

Jim specializes in providing sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to a diverse clientele, including private equity firms, business owners and both public and private companies in the business services industry.

Within Lincoln’s Business Services Group, Jim specializes in several subsectors, including commercial, industrial, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, pest control, fire and life safety, restoration and roofing. Jim has advised on transactions for companies employing a variety of business models, including outsourced maintenance, repair & operations, contracting & construction, engineering and test, inspection & certification.

Through his previous experience at Deloitte and in Lincoln’s Valuation & Opinions Group, Jim possesses deep technical expertise in accounting and finance. With this background, he leverages these skills to provide clients with a distinct perspective rooted in data and analytics.

Jim earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
