Chris Cavanaugh

Throughout my career, I have thoroughly enjoyed helping the innovators and operators behind disruptive technologies thrive and reach life-changing milestones.

Chris is a Managing Director in Lincoln’s Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Group. He covers application software with a focus on vertical applications, particularly in construction and property tech, and more broadly across marketing and sales technologies, commerce enablement, supply chain technologies and human capital management (HCM) technology.

Throughout his career, Chris has gained extensive experience in the TMT industry, including as an operator, enabling him to offer impactful solutions to his clients. His expertise includes advising leading business-to-business (B2B) software companies on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as strategic advisory.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Chris was an Advisor at Spurrier Capital Partners (SCP), that was later acquired by Lincoln in early 2022. Previously, Chris was Director, Digital Product Strategy and Innovation for Ipsos, a leading global research firm. He joined Ipsos through the acquisition of online research firm OTX where he was Director of Innovation and Strategy. Chris previously worked with multiple startups in the digital marketing space.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in financial economics from Columbia University.
