Tinyclues, backed by Alven Capital, Elaia, EQT Ventures and ISAI, has been sold to Splio
Established in 2010, Tinyclues is a marketing technology company whose precision artificial intelligence (AI) targets individuals based on buying propensity. Tinyclues’ cutting-edge technology analyses frequently overlook first-party data signals, allowing customer relationship management (CRM) teams to accurately predict customer purchase intent and easily orchestrate complex marketing plans.
The company was named the Sammy Award winner for Product of the Year in 2021, as well as the MarTech Breakthrough Award winner for Best CRM Solution for Enterprises in 2021 and 2022. Tinyclues has been listed as a “Vendor to Watch” in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Digital Marketing Analytics and as a ‘Cool Vendor’ within its Multichannel Marketing Report. Tinyclues’ investors include ISAI, Elaia, Alven Capital and EQT Ventures.
Having received inbound interests from several parties, the shareholders decided to explore a potential combination with the right strategic partner. They engaged Lincoln International because of its deep industry expertise, buyer relationships and exceptional process execution. The objective was to find the right strategic partner to continue the development of Tinyclues’ unique technology, which turned out to be Splio. Splio acquired TinyClues to offer brands the only AI-powered CRM platform fueled by deep learning, enabling brands to easily orchestrate large scale, hyper-personalized marketing plans.
Matthieu Rosset, Managing Director in Lincoln’s Paris office, commented, “Tinyclues is a truly differentiated company with an unmatched product in marketing activation and best-in-class AI development capabilities. Splio will be a tremendous partner going forward with its proven technology, strong commercial capacity and great European footprint. We are thrilled to have advised Tinyclues on the transaction and look forward to the company’s continued growth in combination with Splio.”
