LaBoutiqueOfficielle.com shareholders have sold a significant stake to BIP Capital Partners

Founded in 2006, LaBoutiqueOfficielle.com is the leading streetwear e-tailer in France, targeting teenagers and young adults. Its success is based on a unique combination of a strong understanding of its young clientele, a comprehensive and fast-evolving product offering and a differentiated communication through social networks and digital channels.

Estelle Fornallaz, partner at BIP Capital Partners, commented, “We have been closely following LaBoutiqueOfficielle.com for some time now. We were really impressed by the agility of its management, the significant growth of the company in recent years and its high level of profitability – a combination of rare ingredients in the digital retail sector. We are very happy to support Julien Cohen and the team in this new development phase.”

Ludovic Rodié, Managing Director at Lincoln International, added, “Congratulations to both LaBoutiqueOfficielle.com and BIP Capital Partners teams on this transaction that highlights a shared will to structure and get the most out the company which aims at doubling sales as soon as 2023. We are thrilled to have helped deliver a positive outcome leading to a structuring transaction in the e-commerce industry.”

“LaBoutiqueOfficielle.com is an amazing success story within the e-commerce industry,” added Matthieu Rosset, Managing Director at Lincoln International. “Led by a great team of entrepreneurs, the company has built a unique, successful and very hard to replicate model. This deal, which is the largest e-commerce leveraged buyout (LBO) transaction in France this year, is another great achievement for Lincoln.”

Lincoln International acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to LaBoutiqueOfficielle.com shareholders throughout the sale process, providing mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory expertise and supporting the negotiation in the transaction.
