Duchossois and Chamberlain have sold HeathCo to Transom Capital
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce the sale of HeathCo LLC (“HeathCo” or the “Company”) for The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (“Chamberlain”), a member of The Duchossois Group (“Duchossois”), to Transom Capital Group (“Transom”), a Los Angeles, California-based, mid-market private equity firm with an operational focus via its proprietary ARMOR value creation process. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky, HeathCo is the leading provider of outdoor security lighting, door chimes and motion-activated decorative lighting primarily for the North American residential repair and remodel end market. The Company offers a full selection of high-quality products and is the primary industry innovator, responsible for multiple industry firsts. HeathCo’s technology-enabled products, nationwide distribution, significant sourcing experience and category management capabilities enable the Company to be a trusted partner for its customers.
Lincoln acted as exclusive financial advisor to The Chamberlain Group and HeathCo in this transaction, working closely with HeathCo’s shareholders and management team throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
