Apax Partners has acquired NextGen Security from Dunes Point Capital

Headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, NextGen Security (NextGen) is the leading provider of essential security systems integration services focused on complex end markets across the United States and Canada. Founded in 2012, NextGen designs, installs, services and maintains mission-critical security systems spanning video management, access control, intrusion detection and related technologies, supported by comprehensive engineering, project management and field service capabilities.

The Deal

Apax Partners LLP (Apax) engaged Lincoln International as financial advisor in connection with the acquisition of NextGen Security from Dunes Point Capital. NextGen has established a strong position in the security systems integration market through technical expertise, its reputation for service quality and focus on customers operating in complex, mission-critical environments. NextGen, with support from Apax, will continue to focus on growth through its sales force; expansion in existing, highly attractive end markets, including data centers; national accounts; and selective acquisitions.
