Saint Gobain has sold
MS Techniques & Transluminal to
Arev Partners
MS Techniques & Transluminal
Founded in 1992, MS Techniques and Transluminal jointly operate as an integrated MedTech contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the design and manufacturing of advanced catheter systems for critical applications in cardiology, neurology, fertility and other minimally invasive procedures. Based near Nancy, France, MS Techniques and Transluminal employ 130 people and serve a broad base of international OEM clients and innovative MedTech companies, with an acknowledged expertise in product development and in complex plastic extrusion. As part of Saint-Gobain Life Sciences business unit, MS Techniques and Transluminal have leveraged the group’s medical expertise, polymer science know-how and R&D capabilities to strengthen their positioning in innovative, high-value-added medical applications.
The Deal
To support MS Techniques & Transluminal’s continued development in a market experiencing strong growth, driven by the expansion of minimally invasive surgical techniques, Lincoln International acted as exclusive financial advisor to seek a new, growth-oriented shareholder. Following a competitive process, AREV Partners emerged as the preferred partner, distinguished by its international reach, proven expertise in scaling platforms and strong alignment with the companies’ and management’s entrepreneurial vision and culture, as evidenced by the rebranding under the NexInLife identity to mark the inception of this new development phase.
Our Perspective
“Lincoln demonstrated its ability to advise corporate clients on complex spin-off transactions and to deliver a strong outcome for stakeholders by highlighting the differentiating features of carved-out assets to relevant counterparts. This transaction further strengthens our relationship with Saint-Gobain Group, following several assignments completed over the past five years and the first one within its medical division” commented François Rispoli, Managing Director at Lincoln International, who led the transaction.
