Revinate, a portfolio company of Serent Capital, has acquired NAVIS
Revinate is a global leader in guest data management and marketing automation. NAVIS is a leading provider of software and services to power reservation sales agents and marketing activities. Together, the companies will form one of the largest and most innovative providers of direct revenue-generating solutions in the industry, leveraging a robust guest data backbone to power strong direct booking conversion across both online and offline channels. Revinate’s current investor, Serent, will sponsor the acquisition and become Revinate’s largest shareholder.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Revinate and Serent, arranging debt capital in support of the transaction. Funds from the transaction were used to acquire NAVIS and to further bolster the company’s infrastructure as it continues to focus on delivering innovative solutions for hoteliers and guests. Lincoln facilitated all aspects of the transaction, including offering capital structure and industry expertise, arranging and negotiating the financing.
Lance Fenton, Partner at Serent, stated, “NAVIS and Revinate are two platforms that provide a tremendous amount of value to their customers. By tightly integrating Revinate’s leading guest data platform with NAVIS’ leading voice channel conversion platform, we see the opportunity to bring exceptional direct booking performance to the hospitality industry. We were excited to find another opportunity to work with Lincoln and greatly appreciate their guidance and support on this transformative transaction.”
Justin May, Director at Lincoln, commented, “We were thrilled to partner with the Serent and Revinate teams on this important transaction that unlocks tremendous value and positions the company to continue capitalizing on opportunities in the hospitality technology sector. Most importantly, we truly enjoyed working with a team that is passionate about achieving their objectives and look forward to observing the company’s continued success.”
