Grupo CCR has sold Total Airport Services to Alliance Ground International, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity and Greenbriar Equity Group

Total Airport Services

Headquartered in Spring, Texas, Total Airport Services (TAS) is a leading provider of airport logistics services operating at eight major airports in the North American market. TAS is a trusted provider for many of the world’s leading airlines and their customers, providing ramp handling for cargo and passenger flights, passenger services, cargo warehousing and tower control.

The Deal

Grupo CCR identified TAS as a divestiture candidate as part of an effort to increase focus on investments in Brazil and away from North America. Lincoln International was chosen to lead the divestiture process given its deep experience in logistics and transportation, the strength of its cross-border U.S. and Brazilian team and global access to key strategic acquirers worldwide. Lincoln managed a highly targeted process focused on strategic acquirers that would be able to unlock meaningful synergies. Alliance Ground International (AGI) was selected as the winning bidder given the strong complementary fit between the two companies. TAS boosts AGI’s operations in the passenger handling market, which is key to AGI’s current strategy and complements their cargo handling capabilities at key U.S. hubs. The terms of this transaction were not disclosed.
