Glass Partners Solutions has sold a minority stake to iXO Private Equity, Arkéa Capital and Crédit Agricole Pyrénées Gascogne
Glass Partners Solutions
Glass Partners Solutions (GPS) is an independent player involved in the distribution, processing and installation of flat technical glass products in Europe mainly addressing the construction and railway industries. Leveraging more than 20 years of experience in the glass industry, GPS built solid exclusive relationships with the largest glass manufacturers, supporting their sales and marketing efforts, providing its customers with the most comprehensive technical product range coupled with value-added services.
Acting as the exclusive investment banking advisor to Founder Elie Benmergui, NextStage and Matignon Investissement, Lincoln International led a highly competitive and swift process with a select group of financial sponsors, able to meet the objectives of GPS shareholders for the group. The equity investment was provided by a consortium of regional minority shareholders, formed of Arkea Capital, iXO Private Equity and Crédit Agricole Pyrénées Gascogne, strongly fitting with GPS’ entrepreneurial DNA and geographical footprint in France and Spain.
Under the leadership of Elie Benmergui and with the support of NextStage and the new shareholders, GPS will continue its ambitious growth strategy to become a reference player in the flat glass market with the objective to be at the forefront of the energy transition.
Ludovic Rodié, Managing Director in Lincoln’s Paris office, commented, “We are particularly pleased to have advised Elie Benmergui and financial shareholders in this transaction. GPS’ positioning and strategy to become a leading player in the energy transition generated a strong interest from a large number of financial sponsors, confirming the growing appetite for green equity stories within the building and construction market.”
NextStage has been supporting growth entrepreneurs in their development since 2002 with its multi-strategy-capital-investment platform. Characterized by its entrepreneurial-investor DNA, NextStage supports ambitious entrepreneurs with equity and expertise in various sectors.
