Endeavour Capital has sold Wineshipping to Greenbriar Equity Group
Wineshipping, headquartered in Napa, California, is the undisputed market leading provider of direct-to-consumer logistics and fulfillment solutions for the wine and alcoholic beverages industry. The company is uniquely positioned as the largest full-service provider with nationwide, one- and two-day, cold chain ground coverage to capitalize on favorable market trends toward increasing direct-to-consumer sales. Wineshipping offers temperature controlled storage, inventory management, advancement business analytics, order fulfillment and expedited coast-to-coast delivery services to over 1,000 leading and established wineries and beverage brands.
After a successful partnership with Endeavor Capital, management selected Greenbriar Equity Group to support the next phase of its growth. Greenbriar was carefully chosen due to their specialist focus on market-leading logistics companies and unique ability to help accelerate the company’s growth and long-term success.
Eric Lewis, Chief Executive Officer of Wineshipping, commented, “We wanted to make sure whoever we brought in was able to lean into the growth that the industry is experiencing by continuing to invest in people and technology, and Greenbriar is the perfect partner to help us do that.”
Gaurang Shastri, Managing Director in Lincoln’s Business Services Group, who leads the firm’s logistics and transportation sector efforts, noted, “The tremendous investor interest in Wineshipping underscores the growing conviction that consumers will continue to increasingly purchase goods online, fueling the demand for providers with the unique combination of logistics and technological expertise to effectively navigate the ongoing digital disruption.”
Lincoln worked diligently to identify and foster dialogue with the best potential partners to meet our objectives. They provided thoughtful advice and senior-level dedication to drive a competitive process and provide us with multiple options to meet our needs. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and are excited to begin our partnership with Greenbriar.
