Syracuse Glass Company is a leading architectural glass and aluminum fabricator serving the small- to mid-sized job market in the Northeastern U.S. Headquartered in Syracuse, New York, and with more than 100 years of operation, the company has maintained a stellar reputation in the industry, driven by best-in-class customer service, a broad portfolio of quality products and industry-leading delivery capabilities.
The Deal
Following Lineage Capital’s investment in Syracuse Glass in 2019, the company enhanced its platform by further penetrating existing and contiguous markets, expanding specialty product categories and focusing on operational and margin-enhancing activities. Given the achievement of these objectives, the shareholders engaged Lincoln International to run a process to find a partner that could support the company on its continued growth plan. The partnership between Syracuse Glass and Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope will result in enhanced customer service in the markets served and greater ability to capitalize on growing demand for architectural glass and aluminum.
