Industrial Growth Partners has sold Prince & Izant to TransDigm Group

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Prince & Izant is a leading provider of vertically integrated, specialty materials solutions for mission-critical applications across a diverse range of end markets. Founded in 1927, the company designs and manufactures highly engineered precious and non-precious metal brazing alloys, precious metal components and clad metal solutions used in high-cost-of-failure applications across the aerospace & defense, medical, power generation, HVAC/R, transportation and industrial end markets.

The Deal

Industrial Growth Partners has completed the sale of Prince & Izant to TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE: TDG) for approximately $1.066 billion in cash. Lincoln International served as a sell-side advisor to Prince & Izant and Industrial Growth Partners in connection with the transaction. The transaction closed on September 28, 2026.

Industrial Growth Partners, founded in 1997, is a San Francisco-based private equity investment firm with over $3.4 billion of equity capital raised since inception. The firm invests exclusively in middle market companies in the industrial sector in partnership with management teams.

TransDigm Group
