Ericom Software, a leading provider of Zero Trust Cloud Security Solutions, has been sold to Cradlepoint, a U.S. subsidiary of Ericsson

Ericom Software

Ericom Software delivers Zero Trust access and cloud security solutions to enterprises around the globe, keeping users and IT resources connected, productive and secure in today’s perimeter-less, distributed workplace environments. The company’s comprehensive security platform enables organizations to adopt Security Services Edge (SSE) and Zero Trust cybersecurity models, improving their security and productivity while reducing complexity and cost.

The Deal

Since its founding, Ericom has grown its original-host-system access and virtualization-focused portfolio into a broad set of Zero Trust cloud security solutions which protect organizations’ users, applications, data and networks. After experiencing robust growth in recent years, Ericom sought a strategic partner to accelerate growth. Lincoln International worked closely with Ericom management throughout the process, leveraging deep expertise in the cybersecurity sector and relationships with potential acquirers to drive a successful outcome for all stakeholders.

David Canellos, Chief Executive Officer of Ericom Software, commented, “Our growth in cybersecurity, driven by our global cloud security platform, has positioned us for a prosperous future. Through our successful partnership with Lincoln, we have found the right partner to help us deliver on our long-term goals within Secure Access Service Edge. We are eager to embark on this next chapter within the Cradlepoint and Ericsson family.”
