Dover Corporation has sold Graphics microsystems, Inc. to Advanced Vision Technology, Ltd.

Lincoln International today announced the sale of Graphics Microsystems, Inc. (“GMI” or the “Company”), a subsidiary of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) to Advanced Vision Technology, Ltd. (XETRA: VSJ), an Israel-based public company traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Dover Corporation. This transaction represents the ninth divestiture that Lincoln International has successfully completed for Dover Corporation. Additionally, this transaction represents the 23rd successful assignment completed by Lincoln International’s Industrial Components and Systems Group in 2007 and the seventeenth cross-border deal for Lincoln International since the beginning of the year.

GMI is a supplier of closed loop color control systems, color management and reporting software and remote digital ink fountain control systems. GMI products are sold to leading commercial, semi-commercial, newspaper and specialty printers in the heatset and coldset web printing markets as well as printing press OEMs worldwide. GMI’s proprietary technology, outstanding value proposition, substantial installed base and innovative product development have enabled it to achieve its leading position in closed loop color control products, with a significant market share worldwide. GMI’s remote digital ink fountain control and closed loop color control products can be found at over 3,000 and 700 sites worldwide, respectively. GMI is based in Sunnyvale, California, Rockwall, Texas and Mechelen, Belgium; and maintains a network of sales offices in North America and Europe as well as a worldwide service network. Lincoln worked closely with the management of Dover Fluid Management to complete this transaction. “Lincoln once again proved itself to be a valued partner to Dover” said Bill Spurgeon, Chief Executive Officer of Dover Fluid Management. “Lincoln’s outstanding execution capabilities resulted in a competitive auction with strategic buyers worldwide and a highly satisfactory outcome for Dover and for the employees of GMI.”
