C3 Capital has sold WiseConnect to GridSource, a portfolio company of Hastings Equity Partners

Headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, WiseConnect, Inc. is a leading asset-light provider of mission-critical, end-to-end solutions for the nation’s largest telecommunications companies. The company’s comprehensive suite of services span the network’s entire lifecycle, from initial infrastructure build to installation, fulfillment, maintenance and upgrade requirements. Leading carriers rely on WiseConnect to continuously support growing data consumption needs, improve network speed and capacity, minimize costly system disruptions and enhance the subscriber experience.
WiseConnect delivers its services through three divisions: infrastructure solutions, managed solutions and network solutions. Infrastructure solutions include fiber path creation, placement and splicing. Managed solutions involve reoccurring installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of data, video and voice services for residential and commercial subscribers and underground and aerial service drop placement to single-family homes. Network solutions feature the development and installation of fiber and wireless networks in multi-dwelling units, multi-tenant units and planned communities.
The Deal
Following C3 Capital’s investment, WiseConnect enhanced its platform by adding new service capabilities, securing new clients and expanding its geographic coverage. In addition, the company invested in best-in-class recruiting and training, operations excellence and technology and analytics – all of which have positioned the company to attract and retain highly skilled technicians and deliver exceptional service quality to its clients. The partnership between WiseConnect and GridSource will result in greater service offerings, a larger geographic footprint and the ability to better capitalize on the growing demand for upgrading and maintaining network infrastructure.
