Pictime Groupe has been sold to Claranet
Established in 2002, Pictime Groupe is a French digital transformation and managed hosting services provider. The group offers a comprehensive range of services to enterprise-scale and middle market clients: cloud management, managed cybersecurity solutions, application development and integration, plus digital experience management. Headquartered in Lille, France, with an office in Paris, Pictime Groupe has built strong relationships with clients from the healthcare and commerce sectors.
After more than 20 years as a privately-owned business, Pictime Groupe’s shareholders sought a partner to support the company’s growth and first-class employee base. Pictime Groupe’s shareholders were looking for a corporate partner sharing the same values and culture to support the company’s next growth phase. The company hired Lincoln International due to its deep sector expertise, buyer relationships and exceptional process execution.
The acquisition of Pictime Groupe expands Claranet’s services offering in digital transformation, strengthens its cloud and managed services division and grows its footprint in France that is becoming the first division of the group with more than 1,000 employees. Laurent Duiquet, Co-president of Pictime Group, commented, “Lincoln was dedicated to our project at every step of the transaction, the team’s expertise and availability enabled us to carry out this transaction swiftly, while focusing on our business.”
Matthieu Rosset, Managing Director in Lincoln’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group, commented, “Pictime Groupe is a truly differentiated company with an unmatched breadth of expertise in digital transformation and best-in-class cloud management capabilities. Claranet is a great home for Pictime Groupe and will be a tremendous partner going forward, with a proven track record of successful mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration and great European footprint. We are thrilled to have advised Pictime Groupe on the transaction and look forward to the company’s continued growth in combination with Claranet.”
Founded in 1996 and headquartered in London, Claranet is a leading European independent managed hosting and security services provider. The group has operations in 10 countries with more than 2,700 staff and has made 38 acquisitions over the last 10 years. Claranet’s revenue is above €600 million.
Lincoln has been a great advisor throughout the process, carefully listening to our objectives and delivering a transaction with the right partner thanks to its extended buyer knowledge.
