Palisade Software, a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, has been sold to TA Associates and combined with Lumivero
Palisade Software simplifies corporate decision making and allows organizations to strategize with confidence by leveraging data-based actionable opportunities and risk analysis solutions in real time. As the leading provider of risk and decision analysis software for over more than 35 years, Palisade has created an undisputed leadership position with their application @RISK by providing users in diverse industries with innovative quantitative analytics solutions. @RISK and the Palisade suite of applications add-in to Microsoft Excel, providing critical insights for decision makers at every level.
After successfully transitioning the platform to a subscription-based model, Palisade decided to sell the company to a partner who could help facilitate the company’s next phase of growth. Lincoln worked closely with Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) and Palisade’s management team throughout the process, leveraging deep expertise in the application software sector and relationships with financial sponsors to drive a successful outcome for all parties involved.
Scott Twibell, co-head of Lincoln’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group, commented, “We are excited for the future of Palisade now that it will be combined into the Lumivero platform alongside QSR International and Addinsoft. Utilizing data to drive unique insights and decision-making processes is becoming increasingly important to companies of any size and vertical. By combining three of the best platforms in the data analytics space, Lumivero is well-positioned for continued growth and will quickly establish itself as the industry leader in a rapidly expanding market for data analytics solutions.”
