Management of Blue.cloud has sold a majority stake to Hudson Hill Capital
Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Blue.cloud is a rapidly growing provider of cloud-native and artificial intelligence (AI)-focused services, including cloud data analytics, data warehousing solution design, cloud operations and digital transformation. Leveraging the domain expertise of over 320 technical employees across the United States, India and Turkey, Blue.cloud delivers agile solutions to its growing customer base of Fortune 500 enterprises within the financial services, insurance and logistics industries. Blue.cloud is a leading partner to industry-defining cloud data providers such as Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, DataRobot and Azure. In 2021, Blue.cloud scaled to run-rate revenue surpassing $39 million, reflecting 185% growth year-over-year with a 30% revenue increase from Q3 2021 to Q4 2021.
Mike Iannelli, Managing Director and co-head of Lincoln’s Business Services Group, commented, “Blue.cloud is a prime example of the attractiveness of investments in digital transformation services. Blue.cloud serves as a critical partner to Fortune 1000 and venture-backed growth companies as they execute digital initiatives in response to rising organizational complexity and the growing need for real-time data insights. The superior technical expertise of providers like Blue.cloud, combined with the increasingly vital strategic importance of digital capabilities, is accelerating the trend towards the use of experts and the outsourcing of IT services. Cloud-based data analytics are seeing rapid adoption compared to traditional business intelligence given the superior scalability from unconstrained data capacity and improved connectivity. This transaction is an important precedent, which will serve to enhance interest in this already attractive market segment.”
