Kubrick Group, a portfolio company of Bowmark Capital, has raised financing
Founded in 2016, Kubrick addresses the acute global technology skills shortage, enabling companies to implement digital and data transformation. The business is at the forefront of creating a high-quality, diverse workforce and has trained and deployed close to 1,000 graduates into data, artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud engineering roles for approximately 100 blue-chip clients.
Bowmark Capital, the mid-market private equity firm, completed an equity investment in Kubrick Group with the objectives to expand the platform beyond the U.K. and to capitalize on the significant global demand for the brightest data talent. Lincoln International acted as debt adviser to recapitalize part of the original investment and raise financing to support the growth strategy.
Aude Doyen, Managing Director in Lincoln‘s Capital Advisory Group, commented, “The ‘Hire-Train-Deploy’ model is compelling for finance providers, generating revenue visibility; it also creates some structuring complexities in periods of rapid growth. With our experience in the sector, Lincoln assisted Kubrick and Bowmark in partnering with financial institutions that understand those growth dynamics and were able to provide a flexible financing package.”
Lincoln’s understanding of the business model, and experience in the sector, enabled us to find the optimal financing package to support Kubrick’s growth plans. Lincoln was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are hugely grateful for all their hard work and support throughout the process.
