Kingwire offers a comprehensive line of company-branded aluminum products sold into the building wire, utility, data center, industrial and renewable energy end markets, complemented by distributor stock programs and value-added services including cutting, paralleling, striping and same-day shipment. Kingwire serves its customers from eight distribution centers with more than 625,000 square feet of capacity and a nationwide sales network.
The Deal
The combination of Kingwire and OmniCable creates a scaled North American wire and cable redistribution leader with a highly complementary product offering, customer base and distribution footprint. The transaction meaningfully enhances the combined company’s product breadth, inventory availability, geographic reach and value-added capabilities, strengthening its position as a critical supply chain partner to electrical distributors across North America. Together, Kingwire and OmniCable are well positioned to deliver an enhanced value proposition to their shared electrical distribution customers while capitalizing on attractive long-term growth opportunities across the wire and cable market.
