Founders, management and TF1 Group have sold Gamned! to HLD
Founded in 2009, Gamned! is a programmatic expert pioneer in digital advertising campaigns. Gamned! combines human expertise and cutting-edge technologies to provide multi-channel campaigns (desktop, mobile, social media, native, video, radio, etc.) through audience targeting and real-time message personalization. The company has more than 160 employees in seven countries and manages more than 250 clients.
In 2018, TF1 Groupe, France’s leading television media group, had acquired Gamned! with the aim of strengthening its digital business. Recently, TF1 Groupe has decided to refocus its strategy on its broadcasting activities, divesting its less core assets.
Subsequently, Gamned!’s founders and managers were willing to accelerate their successful growth trajectory, notably through acquisitions, and regain their independence. This transaction will enable Gamned! to continue its development in other growth territories with the support of the resources and know-how of the HLD fund.
Matthieu Rosset, Managing Director in Lincoln’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group, commented, “Lincoln was able to leverage its sector knowledge and strong appreciation of Gamned!’s unique market position to run a very successful process which attracted significant interest. Gamned! is an outstanding business and is well placed to become a European leader in digital marketing.”
