Five Arrows Growth Capital has acquired KidsKonnect from BB Capital and Vortex Capital
Headquartered in Haarlem, the Netherlands, KidsKonnect is an early education software provider that offers an integrated software solution for daycare centers, out-of-school care, childminder organizations and primary education centers. KidsKonnect is a market leader in the Benelux region and today serves customers, taking care of more than one million children in the 0-12-year age group in the Netherlands and Belgium.
KidsKonnect is a sweet-spot transaction for Five Arrows Growth Capital (FAGC), at the intersection of its core investment themes: software and education. FAGC’s focus is on investing in companies with a strong defendable core and significant international expansion potential. KidsKonnect is poised for strong organic growth as well as acquisitive growth to build a Pan-European platform.
Martijn Koops, Managing Director in Lincoln International’s Amsterdam office, commented, “The European early education market is highly fragmented. Most countries have a small number of scaled providers and a long tail of single-site operators. Ongoing consolidation, together with accelerated technology adoption caused by the pandemic, is paving the way for a European software platform to support this growing international market while also enhancing the user experience.
