Arkea Capital Investissement and Eurefi have sold ACB Group to Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners and the management team have acquired ACB Group from Arkea Capital Investissement, Eurefi and some managers.
ACB (or the “Group”) is a leading manufacturer of high-end printed circuit boards (“PCB”), focusing essentially on European aerospace and defense customers. ACB is specialized in the design and production of prototypes, quick turnaround (QTA) and small series PCBs, with a wide range of technologies including multi-layers (from 12 to 50 layers) in rigid, flex, flex-rigid and HDI PCBs.
The Group operates two manufacturing plants in Malville (France) and Dendermonde (Belgium) with extensive engineering capabilities and operational excellence. ACB employs 170 people and realized €24 million of turnover in 2015. ACB realized two-thirds of its revenue outside France and intends to continue to increase its international exposure through both organic and external growth.
Capitalizing on the promising growth prospects of its niche markets, the group has implemented an ambitious strategic plan for the coming years and intends to become the best PCB partner in Europe for high tech, quick turnaround, prototypes and small series. To support its ambitious plan, management is looking to maintain the level of investment to continue to move upmarket, pursue the development of the sites, continue to expand its client base and reinforce the competitive watch to find buildup opportunities in Europe.
