Alpha has sold MK Direct Group to Eurazeo PME
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Eurazeo PME and the management team signed an agreement to acquire MK Direct Group (the “Group”) from Alpha.
MK Direct Group is the home linen leader in France with a market share of over 20% and more than five million customers. The Group’s two legacy brands, Linvosges and Françoise Saget, are complementary brands with a strong identity that combines quality and creativity.
Certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company), Linvosges has its own workshop in Gérardmer (Vosges), where linen articles are custom-made by highly qualified artisans. Located in Les Fougerêts (Brittany), Françoise Saget offers one of the market’s most extensive product ranges.
With an average annual growth rate of more than 9% over 10 years and revenue of EUR 186 million in 2015, MKD is the sole omnichannel player in its segment with a business model that combines catalogue, web and a national network of boutiques. Alongside management, Eurazeo PME will invest to accompany the Group in its ambitious development plan: accelerated cross-channel distribution in France and brand expansion in Europe, through organic growth and buildups.
