Steadfast Capital has sold FEP Fahrzeugelektrik Pirna to Amphenol Corporation

Funds advised by Steadfast Capital, a renowned independent private equity adviser focusing on medium-size businesses within German speaking Europe and the Benelux countries, and Management have sold their shares in FEP Fahrzeugelektrik Pirna GmbH (“FEP”) to Amphenol Corporation for an undisclosed amount.

FEP is an automotive supplier for sophisticated injection moulded plastics parts for electronic and electrical components, especially connectors and oil pressure switches. FEP was founded in 1949 in Pirna, Saxony, and soon became a leading automotive supplier in the German Democratic Republic. Since its privatisation in 1992, FEP established itself as a reliable partner for leading automotive OEMs and suppliers worldwide.

Steadfast Capital acquired its participation in FEP in December 2006 and successfully assisted Management in the continuation of its growth strategy which included the construction of a new production facility in Pirna and the establishment of a fully owned subsidiary in China, one of FEP’s major growth markets.

With the sale to Amphenol Corporation, a major producer of interconnect technology with diversified global operations, FEP will not only benefit from improved growth opportunities in regions such the Americas and Asia but also from being able to further penetrate existing customers with a wider product and services offering.

Lincoln International was mandated by Steadfast Capital and Management as exclusive financial advisor for the sale of FEP.
