RBJ & Associates has been sold to Pilot Water Solutions, a subsidiary of Pilot Flying J
Headquartered in Midland, Texas, RBJ & Associates (RBJ) is one of the largest independent providers of water infrastructure and disposal services for energy companies in the Permian Basin. The company’s complete suite of water services includes 24 saltwater disposal wells with a permitted daily disposal capacity of approximately 600,000 barrels. RBJ also leverages 150 miles of pipeline gathering systems and other supporting infrastructure to transport and dispose produced water. RBJ’s wastewater management solutions assist in compliance with increasingly strict and complex regulations mandated by the EPA and The Railroad Commission of Texas; protect the environment and surface drinking water; and maximize customers’ production uptime.
Randy Jones, RBJ’s founder and Chairman, stated, “Lincoln ran a highly competitive process that resulted in a successful outcome for all of the company’s stakeholders. We are excited to partner with Pilot Water Solutions to further accelerate RBJ’s evolution into a leading midstream provider of water management infrastructure and solutions.”
Lincoln International served as the exclusive financial advisor to RBJ, working closely with the company throughout the sale process. This role included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
The Lincoln team’s extensive experience in the energy, infrastructure and waste services space was critical in providing us with the guidance and counsel necessary to navigate a very complex transaction.
