Prestress Engineering has been sold to County Materials
The Building and Infrastructure Group of Lincoln International LLC today announced the completion of the sale of substantially all of the assets of Prestress Engineering Company, LLC (“Prestress Engineering” or the “Company”) to County Materials Corporation (“County Materials”). The sale of the Company was completed following an assignment for the benefit of creditors in the state of Illinois. Lincoln International acted as the investment banking advisor to Prestress Engineering on this transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1973 and based in Prairie Grove, Illinois, Prestress Engineering is a manufacturer of prestressed and precast structural products serving the transportation, infrastructure, industrial and building markets in Illinois. The Company’s products include concrete beams, soundwall, retaining walls and building panels. The Company operates two production buildings at its manufacturing facility in Blackstone, Illinois with a stressing capacity of over three million pounds on two indoor prestressing beds.
