Palisade Corporation has been recapitalized by Thompson Street Capital Partners
Lincoln International is pleased to announce that Palisade Corporation (Palisade) has been recapitalized by Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP).
Based in Ithaca, New York, Palisade is a market-leading provider of spreadsheet-based risk and decision analysis software solutions for more than 150,000 decision makers in more than ninety countries and ninety-three of the Fortune 100 companies. Palisade’s proprietary advanced analytics software suite assists clients with complex decision-making scenarios and allows users to develop and propose business strategies with greater confidence through sophisticated risk assessment. The company’s flagship software solutions, @RISK and the DecisionTools Suite, enable users of Microsoft Excel and Project and other technology platforms to make better-informed decisions, while its industry-agnostic solution addresses broad applications for clients across all major industry verticals.
“Lincoln worked seamlessly with the board members and management team of Palisade, delivering consistent senior-level attention at every stage of the process. As a private company, we appreciated their guidance and expertise, as well as deep software industry relationships, which ultimately led us to our new partner in TSCP. We are excited to see the business continue to achieve success through its new partnership with Thompson Street,” stated Vera McLafferty, Owner of Palisade.
Scott Twibell, Managing Director and Co-Head of Lincoln International’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group, added, “We’re very proud to have worked with Palisade given the company’s rich entrepreneurial history and we’re excited to see Palisade’s continued global expansion with TSCP.”
Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Palisade, working closely with the management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. This included providing M&A and industry expertise, as well as managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
