The company, founded in 1856, serves a global, blue-chip customer base which includes leading propulsion manufacturers, ship owners, pump makers and other industrial customers around the globe that require advanced sealing solutions.
The Deal
Over the past several years, Lagersmit enhanced its innovation capabilities by strengthening its research and development team and modernizing its production facilities, further establishing its globally renowned brand. Lincoln International was engaged to search for a strategic partner for the next stage of the company’s development and orchestrated a high-paced and tailored competitive process. Ultimately, The Timken Company, a global leader in engineered bearings and industrial motions products, emerged as the preferred partner to drive Lagersmit’s future success.
