iDC Logistics has been sold to H.I.G. Capital
Headquartered in Buena Park, California, iDC Logistics is one of the largest and fastest growing independent providers of warehousing and logistics services with a specialization in managing high-value, time-sensitive products. iDC serves as a trusted partner to a diverse base of blue-chip customers who rely on the company to coordinate mission critical logistics including warehousing, transloading, freight forwarding and transportation brokerage services. iDC operates over 2.5 million square feet of warehousing capacity in strategic proximity to West Coast, East Coast and Southeastern ports.
After a period of rapid growth, the company’s founder sought a partner to help build out the infrastructure and team to facilitate the next phase of growth. H.I.G. Capital was selected as iDC’s new partner given their proven success collaborating with logistics companies at a similar point in their lifecycle.
Gaurang Shastri, Managing Director in Lincoln’s Business Services Group, who leads the firm’s logistics and transportation sector efforts, commented, “The tremendous investor interest in iDC underscores the value of asset-light logistics platforms that deliver increasingly critical solutions to customers as they manage the challenging and complex supply chain environment.”
Lincoln was a fantastic partner and advisor in achieving this landmark step in iDC’s growth journey. Lincoln brought a high degree of senior-level attention to each phase of the process and worked tirelessly to deliver a truly exceptional outcome for iDC.
