Huron Capital has sold its controlling interest in Systems Holdings to Chamberlain and The Duchossois Group

Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Huron Capital (“Huron”) has sold its controlling interest in Systems Holdings Inc. (“Systems” or the “Company”) to The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (“Chamberlain”), which is beneficially owned by The Duchossois Group. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Germantown, Wisconsin, Systems is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical loading dock leveling equipment, truck restraints, specialty dock equipment, controls and related accessories sold under the Poweramp, DLM and McGuire brand names. Chamberlain designs and engineers residential garage door openers, commercial door operators and gate entry systems. In May 2016, Huron partnered with Duchossois Capital Management (“DCM”) to acquire a controlling interest in Systems in partnership with the Company’s CEO, Mike Pilgrim. During Huron’s and DCM’s holding period, Systems developed a strategic plan designed to leverage the Company’s market penetration in commercial dock equipment and introduce new products and technologies targeting a connected dock environment.

Mike Beauregard, Senior Partner at Huron Capital, said, “Lincoln’s process and execution expertise and focused senior banker commitment were critical in achieving a highly successful outcome for the Company, its employees and its shareholders.”

Mike Pilgrim, CEO of Systems, added, “The Lincoln team had a strong understanding of Systems’ value proposition and did an excellent job articulating our growth story. We really enjoyed partnering with them on this transaction.”

Lincoln acted as the exclusive investment banking representative for Huron Capital and Systems, working closely with the Company’s management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
