The Deal

In a crowded private equity fundraising market with tightening limited partner (LP) allocations, DFW launched the Fund VII fundraise with a $750 million target and $800 million hard cap. Prior to Lincoln International’s engagement, DFW had already secured substantial investor commitments, capitalizing on strong support from existing LPs and several new institutional investors. DFW differentiated itself in many ways, including the strong performance of its investment portfolio, its deep and tenured investment team and its robust sourcing engine. With strategic and tactical support from the entire private funds advisory team, Lincoln guided DFW to a successful final close at the $800 million hard cap, maintaining focus on DFW’s primary goals throughout the process.
