The Deal
To continue solidifying its position and grow into an international industry-leading MSP, Cheops identified Chequers Capital as the ideal strategic partner to replace Indufin, with Chequers moving into a majority shareholder position alongside Filip Goos as reference shareholder and the management team which is reinvesting. Next to building on its strong organic growth track-record, Cheops will also initially consider targeted acquisitions in areas such as workplace management, cloud and cybersecurity, both in Belgium and neighboring countries. Lincoln International was retained by Chequers as exclusive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and debt advisor and was instrumental in helping Chequers win the deal by bringing together tactical M&A advice, deep sector knowledge and committed debt financing in a fast-track process of four-weeks following indicative offers.
