Chequers has entered into a strategic partnership with leading Belgian Managed Services Provider Cheops
Cheops is a market-leading Belgian Managed Services Provider (MSP), offering a comprehensive set of business-critical information technology (IT) services and processes ranging from infrastructure and cloud to modern workplace, security and applications. The company’s offering is complemented by and delivered through best-of-breed technologies. Cheops relieves its clients of the complexities of IT operations and strategy. It enables its customers to streamline their IT environment, facilitating them to implement cost savings and to guarantee and optimize operational continuity and security. Services rendered include the monitoring and management of IT systems, modern workplace management, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
To continue solidifying its position and grow into an international industry-leading MSP, Cheops identified Chequers Capital as the ideal strategic partner to replace Indufin, with Chequers moving into a majority shareholder position alongside Filip Goos as reference shareholder and the management team which is reinvesting. Next to building on its strong organic growth track-record, Cheops will also initially consider targeted acquisitions in areas such as workplace management, cloud and cybersecurity, both in Belgium and neighboring countries. Lincoln International was retained by Chequers as exclusive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and debt advisor and was instrumental in helping Chequers win the deal by bringing together tactical M&A advice, deep sector knowledge and committed debt financing in a fast-track process of four-weeks following indicative offers.
Siebrecht Declerck, Lincoln International Managing Director who led the transaction, commented, “Chequers shares the long-term vision of Cheops and is eager to support the company in realizing its national and international growth objectives. With the support of Chequers, Cheops is poised to expand into an international industry-leading MSP through sustained organic growth and strategic acquisitions.”
Lincoln's guidance and strategic advice was key in helping us win the deal and secure committed financing in a very short timeline.
