ADDMAN Engineering has sold Domaille Engineering to Palm Peak Capital

Domaille Engineering

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Rochester, Minnesota, Domaille Engineering (Domaille) is a leading provider of advanced equipment and accessories used to manufacture high bandwidth, pre-terminated fiber optic cables for critical digital infrastructure applications. The company’s diverse customer base includes leading cable assembly houses and commercial clients serving data centers, telecommunications providers and other enterprise end markets. Domaille was previously a division of ADDMAN Engineering (ADDMAN).

The Deal

In 2021, ADDMAN acquired Domaille Engineering and integrated its advanced machining capabilities into ADDMAN’s additive manufacturing platform. As part of that integration, ADDMAN identified Domaille’s fiber optic solutions offering as non-core to ADDMAN’s strategic focus. To better align with its go-forward vision and focus on additive manufacturing, ADDMAN chose to divest Domaille, resulting in the acquisition by Palm Peak Capital. This transaction establishes Domaille as a standalone global provider of fiber optic equipment and consumables used to connectorize cable and cable assemblies, positioning the company for future growth and continued global expansion.
