Founded in 1995, Kamera Express is a leading omni-channel photo and video platform offering a wide range of photo & video equipment and complementary, value-added services. Kamera Express is a leader in the Western European photo and video specialist segment and serves as a key market consolidator with its all-in-one platform for all types of content creators. Through its community commerce proposition, Kamera Express creates an opportunity for (professional) customers to connect, learn and discover new products. In 2018, Vendis Capital acquired a majority stake and accelerated the international growth strategy through greenfield openings and selective mergers and acquisitions, adding stores in the Benelux region and in Germany.

The Deal

Vendis Capital was looking to refinance the existing senior facilities of Kamera Express that were reaching the end of the loan tenor and to attract additional capital to realize investments in the business. Lincoln International successfully positioned Kamera Express to attract new capital from senior and junior lenders to achieve these goals.
