The Deal
As part of the transaction, Ardian acquired a 90% majority stake from Solarpark Blautal GmbH through its dedicated semiconductor investment platform, while the founding shareholders remain indirectly invested, ensuring continuity and long-term alignment. The existing management team, led by Jan von Schuckmann and Dr. Helge Haverkamp, will continue to lead the business.
The acquisition marks a strategic investment for Ardian to further expand its exposure to the European semiconductor equipment ecosystem. With complementary strengths, a shared long-term perspective and a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence and customer proximity, the partnership is well-positioned to support centrotherm’s continued growth and international development.
